Line is moving in Houston's favor, betting wise. Just moved from -1.5 to -2.0, Rockets favorites. Interesting... Vegas' money is coming in the Rockets' side today. What do they know that we don't? Ryno at backup center now confirmed?

You’re right that Utah probably has a noisier atmosphere than Oracle but they’re probably half the team GS is.

Hey i’d be incredibly happy to eat some crow, I just don’t see it as very realistic.

Now please stop listening (or at least quoting) those jackasses on TNT.

    [...]

In a game in which the Rockets missed 14 shots from within five feet of the rim and missed 10 of the 14 3-pointers with the closest defender four to six feet away, the one thing they could do consistently well is score when going one-on-one. The 36 shots they got within the shadow of the rim is more than any team has averaged in the playoffs. Strategies can help get good shots. Players have to make them.

People might not like that style of offense. That is anyone’s prerogative. It is entirely wrong to argue it did not work.

That of course was the point of D’Antoni comments on Tuesday when he cited “the noise” his team must ignore.

“Mike is right,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. “You don’t change who you are in the middle of a playoff series. They’ve been great this year playing the way they play.

“Every team has different personnel. They happen to have two of the best one-on-one players on Earth. Those guys are really hard to guard. Houston puts a ton of pressure on you defensively. It’s insane to think that anything is easy about guarding Houston. They have one of the best offenses in the history of the game.”

There is a long list of things the Rockets must do better, including offensively. They need to be more aggressive and decisive earlier in the shot clock. They can move without the ball on drives, as they did in the Utah series, to get open shots when the defense converged on Harden. They need to more often get in the open court in fast-break and early-offense situations.

Changing offenses between games, however, would be a massive post-season panic. They are not going to send Clint Capela to the low blocks to take Dream Shakes and skyhooks. They are not going to have P.J. Tucker and Trevor Ariza dashing around screens to catch-and-shoot 20 footers.

There is only one thing D’Antoni needs to do to be right in this. He needs to win. Lose and to some, nothing else matters.

Playing one of the best teams ever? Too bad. Win. Your guys missed layups, free throws and wide open 3s? Wrong offense. Should have gotten them better shots. Make changes and lose? You panicked. Don’t make changes and lose? Should have adjusted.

If the Rockets can’t beat the Warriors with this offense it will be because they were not good enough, not because they should have done something else, something they don’t do as well. Teams playing the Warriors have a ton of issues to address. Coming up with a new offense between games, especially for a team with an offense this good, is not one of them.

Frankly , MDA should not change the system. People here ( fans in general ) just don't understand a few things .

    1) GS is godly defensively .
    2) the defense is trying to prevent us from getting a good shot
    3) we missed some good opportunities and it killed us .

When Luc , pj , and even James miss a shot at the rim ... it's a 4-5 point swing . We had too many of those . If guys can make their layups and attack more aggressively then we will be ok

ego, green, Ryno, and HArden are defense liabilities. Stop having them play together.

    I wanna eat crow tonight.

Big believer that the offense needs more ball and player movement against this good of a defense.

Will be happy to see us win tonight without changing a thing!

When there is Scott Foster, Tony Brothers. Bad Karma, Black Cloud. Follows the Rockets. This Crew for tonight, Ed Malloy is a terrible official, Ken Mauer blew a call when Harden went for a late game layup he was fouled on his arms by the Zach Randilph. Adam Silver sure is scared of the Rockets beating the Warriors. It's like a Mafia owned Sports betting ring League.

Harden needs to match Durant’s production - that already happened

Paul needs to match Curry’s production - that already happened

EGO needs to match Thompson - that didn’t happen

That leaves Capela, Ariza, Luc, and Tucker to beat Green, Iguodala, and Young

I don't think you really believe that. I'd love to see the Rockets win...

Yikes, what a terrible article. They used two plays from the game to make their whole case lol. Blatant Anti-Harden journalism at it's finest.
