we need to boycott the NBA if warriors and cavs make it again.. the warriors without KD would have my full support because that team was built organically, what KD did and what lebron did before signing and making super teams has taken the fun out of NBA... for the record, rockets never formed super team.. In the 90's we traded for clyde with another border line allstar otis thorper when clyde was clearly past his prime.. we traded our entire future for barkley in horry, cassell and more and picks for two years off trying... we traded assets like Lou Williams (borderline allstar) pat bev, Montrez Harrell for CP3.. these trades keep teams in check from accumulating ridiculous amount of talent wealth.. KD joining Steph,Klay and Green is like if bird would have joined magic, kareem and worthy, it would be if Shaq joined Jordan,Pippen and Rodman.. An elite team basically becoming untouchable and having two MVP players playing together in their prime.. .just ridiculous.. I really hope the NBA has record low rating if warriors are in.. This may not fix things but if they are not giving us a good product they should feel it in their pocket books... sorry just had to rant..
Cry harder. I'm more of a, "Play your best and if you lose at least you don't make excuses" kind of guy. The Rockets didn't play well and they lost. Shocking. They'll be better. This was game 1 not game 7.
Those aren't mutually exclusive ideas. As a team you can have a no excuses attitude but as a league acknowledge you have a competitive balance issue. The Warriors only got this level of a super team because of a fluke in the CBA.
and the free will of a top 3 NBA player. Durant took less money to go to GS. If he really wanted to be there they would have found a way to make it happen regardless of the CBA. This isn't on the NBA, this is on Kevin Durant.
Well without that 25 mil jump they would have only had the mid level to pay him. So the next time a MVP in his prime does that let me know.

If Rockets lose, hoping for a Celtics Warriors Final. Brad Stephens has a lot of tricks in his bag, and can at least make them sweat for it.
I've never watched the playoffs if the rockets aren't playing. don't plan on starting anytime soon. I don't even remember what happened in the playoffs during the early mauri years where we finished 9th consecutively. I only know who won the finals from reading the dish. no rockets, no fun.
