A little glad they won. Anything that keeps the Arsenal front office from kicking him overboard.

Well, it was just HSV, so a solid 2. Bundesliga defense probably would've done better in that situation. But got to see some shades of Ribéry's former self. We'll need that as long as Coman is out.

Wealthiest...... they shared the best league tagline with Spain anyway or were slightly behind Spain.

IMO Spain clearly ahead for years now. England has exactly one good team in City and they have yet to prove this CL season.

The league is pretty good obviously.....the league has pace and they play uptempo, has the best managers, you have a Top 6 teams, and then you have a field of teams that fights against relegation/ or stay in mediocrity.

In terms of competitiveness I think England and Germany are above Spain because there are more midlevel teams that can surge into the top 8 rather easily.

English league got more cash to spend on exciting players overall. They draw the best talents outside of Spain.

I think they dun play that well in a 2 leg format.....they have not figured that out yet.

Agree that you can't compare average teams. When it comes to international success though, it's Spain all along. Just look who won the Champions League and the Europa League the last couple of years.

Guess I said that multiple times before, but to me the English league is full of overpaid and overrated mercenaries and get approved everytime they fail in club or national team competition.

I wouldn't miss either Mourinho or Pep if they both retired today and were never seen again.
