Twould be one great story if Daniel House Jr. made good right here in his hometown. This guy loves home and wants to be a Rocket very badly.

And he's showing signs of being an NBA player. Multi-skilled player with very high iq, thriving in our open court system.

    Plus defender
    Good handle
    Good passer
    Can create of the pick
    Good size
    Good defensive fundamentals
Good shooting range, especially off the dribble.

Needs to continue to improve his shooting. But his mechanics are solid and improved already and his shooting percentage reflect it. Just needs to keep progressing.

Physically he looks like Glenn Rice with the wide shoulders. But he's s much better player off the dribble and defensively than Rice was, while, of course, not being nearly the shooter Rice was. But he's improving.

Like his game, work ethic, and attitude, and his desire to pay for his home team.

I think he's got a great chance to get signed by an NBA team by the end of this season. Would be a great story if he were able to stay here and he developed into a rotation piece down the road.

Yeah..... House was not a hard worker and had a lot of off the court issues when he started his college basketball career. I wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole unless he has really changed who he is as a person.

    Welp, there goes that man.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch Demetrius and Briante, neither of whom can shoot, eat popcorn waiting to see if Bobby Brown gets injured, our empty roster spot keeps putting up triple double zeros, and onuaku is 15th man on the roster, behind our triple double zero machine, and seventh in the big man rotation behind CC, Nene, Black, PJ, Zhou, and triple doublezero.

    Go figure.

Dude made it. And he made it here. We need to go ahead and sign him to a 3-year deal after we clear out Melo. He's a bargain at the minimum. He fits. He's better than Ennis, MCW, Knight, and until Clark's jumper returns, Clark. Gotta sign him.

House, Jr. and Clark continue to prove my point. At any given time there are probably 500-1000 (maybe more) players not in the NBA who are as good or better than the bottom 150-200 players in the NBA.

We'd have been better off and probably a top 8 seed right now if we had simply signed House and Clark at the beginning of the season instead of Ennis and MCW leftovers.

Need to clear out guys like Knight, Melo, MCW, and Ennis. Sign this guy and go get Bruno too.

Hopefully you now see House is a legit NBA talent, @Nook.

I am still don't recall why he bailed on the Cougars in college. Still, Rockets desperately need help on their bench and House has shown more ability than most of the other backups we have experimented with this year.

I know why he left and it was pretty bad. Coach didn’t want him back anyway, after the way he acted and the disrespect he showed.

Having said that, he may have matured. He could of given up and he didn’t. There are warts to his game but he is looking more like an NBA player and he deserves credit.

I guess he likes being a Viper even more than being a Rocket. We offered him a three year deal and he said no thank you,,

Nope. It's economics. He knows he's worth more on the market now.

This is one of those wasted opportunities. Sited have signed him for 3 seasons a year ago.
