2nd episode of season 3 came out tonight. I almost forgot about it in the anticipation for GOT episode but everyone can rejoice now. Wubba lubba dub dub.
I was late to the party; I thought this show was one of those adult cartoons like Simpsons and Family Guy. I just recently binged season 1 and 2 because of all the publicity from the anticipation of season 3. It's really good. It's so good I'm surprised it's following is so cult-ish. I didn't hear much of anything about seasons 1 and 2. I'm glad I got to binge 2 seasons without having to wait for season 3.
God this season has been so good. Another classic this week, so tightly packed with greatness (meth head rick god I laughed way too loud). Justin Roiland didn't get a break the whole episode...mad props
I was just about to search for this thread. Yes, this season has been the bees knees. Return of Evil Morty, Non-Toxic Morty, Cop Morty and all the rest of the Mortys on the come up. Its been the season of Morty. Episode 7 was so deep and intricate. I have one question on it though, which Rick was the secretive Rick that gave campaign Morty the secret files to reveal Evil Morty and what is Evil Morty up to?
God in heaven, this season has been epic. I'm shocked the show can still do it. Also, need more episodes with Sarah Chalke, asking for a friend.
Those are two good questions. It could be Eye Patch Morty's original Rick? You wonder if this is Palpatine level ****. Eyepatch Morty's plan could have been to get caught by our Rick so all of the Morty's he collected would be taken back to the citadel and create a minority class that he could galvanize. He basically created "Morty Town." I feel like Eye Patch Morty has to have some connection to our Rick. The only theory I had was he was our Rick's original Morty. Either our Rick didn't originate from C-147 or the C-147 Morty is a replacement. Maybe Eye Patch Morty knew that targeting our Rick could cause him to attack and destabilize the Citadel government which is what led to the democratic election and Eye Patch Morty's rise to power.
I finally gave it a shot .. . I finally can say I liked it. It is like First Season Ren and Stimpy . .. in that it is good for many reasons mainly it is not the norm Rocket River
Best episode ever. Just blown away for where this could take the show. This and Phoenix Person/Tammy give Rick specific enemies out there we are just waiting for him to encounter again.
Yeah, the show is excellent I wish season 3 wasn't almost done, hopefully not too long of a wait for season 4.
