Texans should give a shot to Aguayo. He is a stud kicker just needs to put it together mentally.

So your solution is to add a kicker who is more likely to miss than to make It? KFB needs a chance. So he missed a 55 yarder in one game. Aguayo misses that every game. Don't want.

Solution? Where did i say he is what we needed? I said he might be a factor to a solution if a change of scenery could help. As I said earlier as well, I still think hes trash but ya never know. What does it hurt to invite him to camp? I want the Hawaiian kid to be the one also but he could end up sucking too.

Before Wednesday I didn't think there was much of a chance that would happen. But Savage was worse and Watson was better than expected.

Clearly the door is cracked and game 2 performance probably determines who starts the important game 3.

Tom Savage, the clock is ticking.

Hello from the Greenbrier. Defense was overwhelming today. Foreman needs help w his blocking. Watson missed some passes.

Bought a football and my daughter got two autographs - Watt and Watson. A good day!

Watson needs to put in a lot of time on accuracy. Every update has him missing passes

Remember when LeBron James couldn't hit a jump shot his rookie year? Everybody was saying, how is it that he is so great and can't shoot consistently. Sooner than later, he started being more accurate. Hope that happens with DW; think it will.

The thing is, if a basketball player's shot isn't falling, he can still do things that help the team. Hustle. Rebound. Find the open man for an easy assist. If, as a NFL QB, you're missing passes, there's really no other facet of the game you can focus on, to help your team.

I agree with this. It would also put some pressure on our current cohort of kickers.

Actually, he is not a stud kicker. He was automatic at extra points, and high clip within 40 in college. He was really poor on tries over 40 at FSU, and his best season was 2 seasons before he declared for the NFL.

He is not even automatic at extra points now...

He is not a stud, and tbh, we have a really good kicker within 40, that just has no leg beyond that.

if you want to add a kicker, I would add Dan Carpenter over Roberto Aguayo.

My point was that accuracy issues can be coached up to some degree.

Not to mention his accuracy issues seem to be on long passes. And he can still help the team with his running. He definitely can help the team.

Sadly it's on more that long passes. He threw an inaccurate screen pass to a RB like 5 yards in front of him and missed 2 more that were less than 20 yards down the field. I don't consider those long passes.

That was more miscommunication if I'm thinking of the same play. Hunt tried to separate a little more from the defender and Watson thought he was going to stay put.
