[TMZ] Derrick Rose Accused of Gang Rape

It might just be TMZ but the wording is very suspect. She was invited to his house, they tried to drug her, she escaped with a friend, later they broke into her apartment, and she knows they raped her but only remembers flashes because she was incapacitated by drugs presumably. Doesn't really fit together well.

I don't understand why they would release his name and not hers, particularly in a civil case with no criminal conviction. Seems like an outrageous double standard.

 

So if I read between the lines properly, he banged her while she was super drunk and she felt a little weird about it at the time, but when she decided she hated him years later and needed some cash, it became convenient to call it "drugging and rape".

I mean, if actually true, terrible. But seems like a pretty ludicrous accusation to seek only civil charges for.

I actually thought Derrick had no friends, he is an introvert & no way he did that. When you are famous, have cash, good look & confidence you can have any women on this world - you just don't rape someone...

 

Maybe they are not conservative in the political sense but conservative religiously. Maybe they are Muslim. Getting raped always looks bad on the woman in Islam unless you have 7 witnesses to testify on your behalf.

Maybe there is some truth but the fact that she waited 2 years and isn't filling criminal charges is why I don't think anyone can take it seriously. Also she was dating him for 2 years while he was doing all this?

If Rose did do this, I hope he gets prosecuted. Then I hope he gets banned from the NBA.
