Grizzlies will be without Conley, Allen, and possibly Gasol. Pacers will try to win at all costs and the Grizzlies just wanna get in the playoffs without any key players getting injured.
Spurs win and Rockets win; Spurs win and Grizzlies loss (37.5%): 2 Spurs 3 Clippers 5 Rockets 6 Grizzlies Spurs win, Grizzlies win, and Rockets loss (12.5%): 2 Spurs 3 Clippers 5 Grizzlies 6 Rockets All three lose (12.5%): 2 Clippers 3 Spurs 5 Rockets 6 Grizzlies Spurs loss, Rockets loss, and Grizzlies win (12.5%): 2 Clippers 3 Spurs 5 Grizzlies 6 Rockets Spurs loss, Grizzlies loss, and Rockets win (12.5%): 2 Rockets 3 Clippers 5 Spurs 6 Grizzlies Spurs loss, Grizzlies win, and Rockets win (12.5%): 2 Rockets 3 Clippers 5 Grizzlies 6 Spurs
Gasol did play the other night at Golden State, so I imagine he'll give it a go again tonight. The Grizzlies have a lot at stake in this one depending on what happens in the Rockets and Spurs games.
Agree, but the Pacers suck. The Grizzlies can suck, but the Pacers truly suck. Suck level has bigger impact than effort.
The calculation is such a failure. If above both scenario will have equally 12.5%, that means Spurs win and Spurs loss will have the same odds? Spurs is a -240 favor tonight.
wow spurs are getting absolutely decimated by the Pelicans. Cant believe we have a chance to get 2nd seed. Though it wouldnt surprise me if Spurs came back.
Question for you folks: If we are 5 or 2 I know that we get home court in the first round no matter what... But don't we lose home court in the second round no matter what (assuming the Warriors or Clippers took care of business)?
We wouldn't have home court vs Portland if we are 5 as Portland won their division. I think. I'm so confused. I've never seen anything like this on the last night of the season.
Portland is 4 seed because they won their division but Houston would have home court because they have a better record. Something like that.
it probably doesn't matter by now since we're div champs, but to answer you're question. Yes we would be granted HCA since we have a better record. Remember Rockets vs Jazz 2007 i think.
We did have home advantage against Portland if we were at 5th while Portland won the division champ, which is based on winning record instead of division standings. seems like it is the new rule this season
