Just gotta hope he doesn't match up with Jacoby now. All joking aside, great signing. Safety has been a need for so many years. This is the first time in a while they've actually addressed with a decent player. They have to go out and get an ILB, OLB, or NT now with the remaining cap. I prefer ILB honestly since we've really been depleted there. Brandon Spikes is still out there. He was a solid player for the 2nd best defense in the league last season. I think he would be solid alongside Cushing.

anyone know of a solid write up on rahim? don't know much about him. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Rahim Moore is PFF's 2nd highest rated free agent safety and recorded 45 tackles, 1 forced fumble and 4 INT's in 16 games in 2014. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Texans?src=hash">#Texans</a></p>— Mike K (@Zepp1978) <a href="https://twitter.com/Zepp1978/status/576079129587531776">March 12, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Good move. Leaves us a little for a third receiver or Kendick Lewis. Assuming the Wilfork talk is done.
We need a 3 down LB that can run. Stephone Anthony and Eric Kendricks should both be big time draft targets.

Not to "rain on the parade" here, but I think there's only 1 "favorite" for that comment because there's no way it's true. Our secondary will hopefully be more solid than it ever has been before, but we still don't have what some other teams do....we've gotten better no doubt, but IMO we're still behind NYJ, SEA, and arguably a few others.
Yeah it's a stupid comment. First issue is that not a single player in that secondary will be elite. You would have three above average guys in Moore, JJo and Kareem, a very mediocre player in DJ Swearinger and a mediocre player in Kendrick Lewis. I mean it's not horrible but it's not great either. The best thing they can do for that secondary now is develop a pass rush outside of JJ Watt.
