He needs to rest until he can come back completely healthy - otherwise these things will compound on him and he would be in danger of missing the playoffs.

Let a 3man big rotation of Tjones, DMo and JSmith handle it for a bit...with Dorsey (Ugh) handling 4th man big.

Well, we don't need him against the Lakers. But it sure would nice for him to be in uniform against the Mavs next Wednesday.

 

i thought the fakers were able to beat up on our inside players last time and that's how they got the W. for me, even a rusty jones is miles better than f'n dorsey :grin:

He was actually playing quite well before he went down today.

And for all the dudes happy that he's out...you saw what the Joey Dorsey experience entails...

 

It didn't look too bad. But you never know with these things. I did slink off midgame to add D-Mo in my fantasy league just in case.

 

Rather him play against LA to knock off some of that rust and get familiar with the new guys in an actual game.

 

The Rockets were just out of sync that night. Dwight was a late scratch and they weren't prepared to play without him. Compare that to tonight where they didn't miss a beat when he left the game(well, at least til late in the 4th when they forgot how to play defense).

Also, the Lakers had Kobe that night and he hit a big shot on Ariza in the 4th that helped them come back. They won't have him Sunday. And no, they are not a better team without Kobe.
