    I used one of those 3rd party sites once that hand deliver it and expedite it. You have to pay big but I got my passport in less than a week.

    I made an appointment for mine at the Houston public library some years ago. Went in, filled out the paperwork, wrote a check, gave my oath and was out of there in 45 minutes. Had my passport in the mail 3 weeks later.
