faried has pretty much the same problems as Jones on defense when guarding the likes of LA/Griffin.

If we get Ramon sessions to backup bev fire McHale and hire Jackson we back to contenders
But if we get just sessions I say we have the same record as last year
The team we have know is just a 51-31 team sessions =54-28 chase he replaces Lin. Hire Jackson 56-26 57-25

So...I guess we're playing the free agent lottery again?

    *sigh*

Just get rid of Mchale then it'll be a solid offseason.

lol at sarcasm. 8K posts well spent steddinotayto. It's funny how some ppl resort to personal attack as soon as their logic is being challenged.

    Even sarcasm has its logic.

Kinda ironic that DM won't take a chance on him. His concept of using the three pointer to increase the variance of the game outcome, makes winning rely more on chance.

    Remember one thing:
What the "source" tells, is just what the team want people to know

Well plowman has seemed pretty insistent on it, and both of you seem to have confirmed that Houston has been in talks with PHX.

It's not a stretch. Next summer Houston can offer Goran a 4 year deal worth close to $80 million by just using cap space. Sure, PHX could offer 5 years $105 million, but is Goran the type of player you give that contract to when you're still no-where near competing?

Possible translation: He's willing to muddle along for two seasons, even if Dwight leaves at that time, if it gives us a shot at Durant?

Seems like Faried is gettable though. I can't remember specifics, but I think Faried being on the block last year had a lot to do with how he just didn't fit what the coach wanted from a power forward (maybe he wanted more of an enforcer? a floor-stretcher? can't remember).

Wonder if Morey's still making half-hearted efforts at other point guards.

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeez, I get sick of the "save our flexibility" crap. Unless, of course, Durant promised Harden he'd come to Houston. Even then something would happen to screw it up.

Ok. So Houston pulled out. We did the same with Amare several years ago, and that worked out in our favor.

He was talking about Rondo, not Bledsoe.

You DO realize that 90% of this entire thread has been filled with sarcastic and cynical comments right? If you're going to try and make sense of EVERY post in a 390+ page thread then I guess all I can say is good luck. But, yes, thank you for coming out of the woodwork to try and make sense of something that was zero % serious. I appreciate the attention you've given me.
