Typical newbie GARM thread.

 

How did you do that.

 

Steps to find your oldest post (so that everyone can get in on the fun):

- Step 1: Donate so that you have the Search function
- Step 2: Go to Advanced Search (http://bbs.clutchfans.net/search.php)
- Step 3: Enter your (or anyone else's name) in the Username field
- Step 4: Select "Find threads started by user" from the drop down selection
- Step 5: In the bottom left corner of the page, change "Sort Results by" to "In ascending order"
- Step 6: Hit the "Search" button
- Step 7: ???
- Step 8: Profit!!!

Only really payed attention to GARM back then. Started my first thread on a fringe player that was on the Rockets in training camp briefly one offseason, but I was all excited about him because I had seen him play at San Jac for a season or two.

My first thread was in the for sale forum, as I was wondering if I could sell a ball that had several old Rockets players' autographs, including Rudy's. It was a lame thread.

Later that same year though, I posted one that still has my favorite interaction with the infamous Trader_Jorge. LOL.

That was a great thread! A good example of this place back then. Not 147 pages long, just very intriguing and a bit nutty. KingCheetah is worrying about his fur, Trader_J is worrying about his manhood. Art is at least talked about a little, something that can be rare here, excepting music and images, of course. In other words, perfect. I can't believe I didn't post in it.
