    I'd rather be paying Asik but if this screws the Mavs I am all for it. At least he is a better perimeter defender than Harden or Parsons.

    If we get a true stretch 4 like Anderson , match Parsons, and bring Ariza off the bench. This off season was a success, and the team would look to be balanced and built well. If we're going to replace Ariza with Parsons, just bad bad bad.

    Backup PG? We have Canaan, drafted Johnson (who looks solid), Harden can play some point and Daniels can play point. I get where you are coming from with none of them having done anything noteworthy at PG so far, but I'd say PF, especially a defensive PF is the much bigger need. A guy like PPat would be nice, someone with a midrange shot and good defense (PPats defense was massively underrated).

    No, I agree. Parsons can lead bench and be potential 6th MOY. Don't need another ball handler in starting unit

    Good way to look at it, though it's possible his game will be just as frustrating.

    I like it IF we match Parsons. This team needs depth and this helps with that.
