    UPDATE: he's having surgery today and sounds like he had massive torso injuries but no head injuries. But I don't know. Just relaying updates

    Nice to see. He looks good. I was under the impression that his face was really damaged.

    It's a little wild seeing him being serious since everything he says is in, well...the Tracy Morgan voice.

    That representative made it seem like part of the compromise agreement with wal-mart was to speak well of Wal-Mart regarding the entire process. Understandable from Wal-Mart's PR point of view, but that seemed more like an obligation to me.

    In this case the PR hit would 10X more than a regular civilian. Morgan's celebrity means 10X more of an audience and since Morgan has money he'd be more willing to keep pushing back.

    For whatever it's worth I toured with Tracy in the mid 90's on the Def Jam Comedy Tour. He was so broke and prideful that I had to force him to allow me to pay for his lunch at a mall in Buffalo NY. Really good dude. His child-like persona is real and that interview exhibits the heart of the guy that I met many years ago. Years later after SNL and 30 Rock I saw him at a festival in Montreal Canada and he remembered the day saying, "You know I owe you lunch, B". Great dude. Real comic. Special talent.

    I never got that lunch tho...

    Yeah, I halfway expected him to all the sudden look into the camera and yell "I'M BRIAN FELLOWS!!!"

    But seriously, I loved the part at the end when he said "I'll get back to making you laugh, I promise you." Very inspirational.
