Which would you rather have: Jim Jackson or a 2004 non-lottery 1st round pick?

Apparently that's what it came down to when pulling the trigger. For poll purposes, Chicago's 2005/2006 2nd rounders (or late 2004 1st rounder) can be attributed to the trade exception, which I'm sure will please many when it's used.

All in all, it seemed like a unique one-time window of opportunity where a lot of teams are now at or over their spending limits, while free agents are uninterested in going to teams that aren't (ie Utah).

ps If this post doesn't have a poll, I didn't do this right. Are non-veterans frowned upon for posting polls?

However, Jim Jackson was one of my favorite role players to ever role play.

Jim Jackson isn't coming back. Not if Lebron is coming, he is not going to have his mom around that dude. He is hitting every girl that has a vag and is breathing.

11 years later and no one has answered the poor guy's question

    2004 NBA draft non-lottery highlights:
Al Jefferson, Josh Smith, J.R. Smith, Dorell Wright, Jameer Nelson, Delonte West, Tony Allen, Kevin Martin, VujaBIT**, Varejao, Ariza, VSpan

Well, Rockets88, It's safe to say that the pick would have been more valuable
