    I love the story of the pink glove, why he wears it, and all of that. Williams seems like a really, truly, great man. . . .he just isn't a very good mlb pitcher

    It would be bad enough if Williams was good, but we are doing all of this to get a terrible pitcher in the game

    Not sure if Sipp (or any bullpen pitcher) can really simulate this sort of situation... not sure if its worth it, or if it will ultimately work... but I do know that having Jerome Williams come in to face their best hitter was nothing short of asinine.

    Would bring in Qualls over Farnsworth here... this is the game, and its a tougher hitter than what the 9th inning guy will see if the job is done right.
