obamacare haters will keep upping their expectations and success requirements as the numbers keep going up. some people will never accept it as a success no matter what
Looks like someone bought health insurance recently. The numbers don't lie. Most would rather pay the penalty than buy health insurance through their website. Saying it is stupid without saying why is stupid. If you do not like my argument then say just that and walk away.
I don't care whether or not it is successful. It is a gimmick. You're an ass for assuming i am an obamacare hater. I tried to sign up for it recently and they wanted $359 monthly for their lowest coverage which sucked. I would rather pay the penalty and use the money i save on things like a gym membership and better groceries. I am young and i do not see myself getting sick anytime soon. The stress about one more bill over $350 every month would be worse for my health than any benefits from the coverage.
Lol you want me to dissect this and it is not worth it but fine. 318 million - 68 million medicaid/chip recipients leaves 250 million. Lets just assume 50 million already have health insurance (i am being generous with that number) and that leaves 8/200. Just 4%. So yeah, keep being stubborn.h
Really? You think only 50 million Americans had health insurance prior to Obamacare? Hint: the number was actually well north of 200 million. *That* is why your conclusion is so ridiculously stupid.
[edit] I see Major beat me to it. Um only about 15% of the country does not have health insurance. And you do realize ACA wasn't meant for those who have coverage?
I am calling bull****. You are telling me damn near every kid in elementary school through college has health insurance? Bull****. Give me a source so i can laugh at this ****.
Because you come and act like an idiot. If you want to discuss a topic, learn something about it. Take 5 seconds and do a google search. You seem to take pride in being an uneducated moron.
Nobody ever responds to this when I mention it so I guess I’ll do it. That whole 8M/320M = fail meme? yea no If we look at the law in the context of covering the people that was meant to cover, we are already at or surpassed 25% of the roughly 48M uninsured in just the first 6 months of coverage . Projections are saying 24M or more could be covered by 2016 election. In just two years we could possibly cut the uninsured in half.
Certainly your choice to remain an ignorant fool. Just don't be surprised when people call you out on it. Or try this link: http://www.google.com
Tried it you ass. There are are no stat break downs of americans with/without health insurance with key demographics by age, race, etc. It is besides the point. You don't really need health insurance until you are eligible for medicare anyways as long as you eat right and exercise. Smug *******.
So you suck at google too. Nice. Yeah, healthy people don't get cancer. Or break legs. Or get in car wrecks. Brilliant. You manage to outdo yourself in every new post.
