    So we're going from a head coach that "plucked" David Ash and Case McCoy (barf) while whiffing on great prospects like RG3, Manziel, and Jameis Winston... to a head coach that was able to convince a "premium QB prospect" to go to freaking Louisville?

    I couldn't be happier then...

    I like Charlie Strong, but it's hard to understate how comical this is. "Saban is a done deal" was said how many times during this whole process?

    Jesus...too funny. Believing Texas "insiders" and posting their "information" has to be ban-worthy at this point LOLOLOL

    The other factor you're ignoring is how quickly the other stars are fading:

    Saban - 2 game losing streak, old man who just got owned by the same Bob Stoops OU that even Case McCoy beat up on.

    Briles - just got embarrassed by a Florida juco coached by alkie department store Santa in their super bowl.

    Harbaugh - loser in super bowl, lost division to Pete Carroll who Mack Brown beat

    Bunch of crap really.

    Bad loss for sure...but I'm not sure you can make a legitimate compelling argument that Briles/Baylor are fading right now.

    Word. People like to crap on them, but UCF is legit.

    I thought Baylor would be more competitive, but the penalties and arm-tackling... my god, it was like all of Briles' worst coaching habits came to the surface all at once (minus terrible punting).
