    If there's a thread about Blake Bortles then I'm making one about McCarron.

    I would love for the Texans to take him with the 1st pick of the 2nd round.


    Everything that BOB wants in a QB he has with AJ.

    -Accuracy
    -Makes good decisions on and off the field
    -Great football IQ
    -Tough competitor



    I really think he has the tools to succeed in the NFL and his work ethic is 2nd to none. Watch the Alabama game tonight. AJ has a great ability of reading defenses and changing plays at the line.

    33rd pick is too high for McCarron. I see him as a 3rd rounder. If for some reason we don't take a QB in the first two rounds, I wouldn't have a problem taking him in the 3rd.

    I personally have a bias against QBs on powerhouse teams. Too optimal a situation makes it hard to guess whether the guy can deal with much less ideal situations in the NFL.

    I'm in the same boat. Alabama has a good O-line, RB, ST, and defense. It's hard to judge when everything is working in their favor.

    Her parents were around for that pic. Any dad that has a daughter with those t*** knows exactly why her BF is dating her and what they're doing. Uneasy situation, even for a star QB. Bortles doing the gentlemanly thing.
