[ESPN] Wolves picking Rubio over Love for a max deal a wise decision

This is probably the worst trade I have ever seen for Minnesota. They trade Love, a freakin superstar already if not for injuries, who AVERAGED 20/15 and 26/13 for Lin, T-Rob, and crap? What are you smoking? You need at least a potential star talent with a high lottery pick to get the convo going. For the Rockets, we start of with Asik + Parsons + any 2 of T-Rob, D-Mo, or T. Jones + draft picks. Since we don't have the valuable lotto picks or potential stars, that's the starting price.

 

Haven't really read through the thread, but who the hell chooses Ricky Rubio over Kevin Love? I get that Ricky occasionally makes some cool-looking passes, but seriously? Do people think 25/15 is easy to find?

 

If Kevin Love was more durable, I would love to have him on the team.

There are serious questions about whether or not he can stay healthy for a season.

 

Plus, the point guard position is stacked in the league right now. The power forward? Not so much.

Unless you're going for a top 3 point guard, go with the elite big man.

 

Rubio already got one GM fired.
