    Is the owner of the dog willing to part with the dog forever? If I help, it's not going back.

    Do we know the gender of the dog? Is it housebroken?

    How long ago did this eye thing happen?

    I have dog food & a dog crate. If sactown is willing to pay for the treatment, I'm willing to go get this dog.

    Yes, I do think SacTown can be quite pompous at times, but your grudge with him is rather petty. If you're not gonna do a thing, maybe he should/will.
