In terms of CF boards, I agree with you 100%, but I'm sure you must also admit that outside of CF, the jokes are quite frequent.

 

Let's not be politically correct here, many, not all, Lin fans are international Chinese and Taiwanese fans and non-native speakers of English who are already afraid of using their broken English in public as they are often times laughed at. Many people tend to develop a kind of of bitterness and sensitivity to it as the jokes have happened in many occurences in their own lives; at least, that is what I have seen from the ELL (English Language Learners) students that I teach, Chinese or not.

But i think we're derailing the game topic, so let's just say that D-MO is a lovable guy, his game and hilarious twitter posts and all.
