    TEXANS.

Also, DVR, disconnect myself from FaceBook, texting, etc., so I can watch both without interruptions for 6 hours straight!

Agreed, makes no sense considering many people are probably not from houston and just like the rockets.

Really tough call, but I have to give the Texans the edge because of the potential community impact over my personal preference for the Rockets.

There's no doubt that Houston is a football town first, so the community support for a Texans Super Bowl would be so much stronger without any kind of "fight," if you know what I mean.

I think it would just feel more special.

Agree. Plus, the only NFL team I will ever root for is the Houston Oilers. I don't care about the Texans. At all. Oh, and is Bud Adams dead yet? I want to piss on his grave.

The majority of us can't watch Rockets games on television.

Let's up the ante. If you had tickets to both, but they were at the same time? Which one would you go to?

Fudge... I would have to say the Texans have a slight edge. Simply because the caliber of players that are on the current Texans roster. Andre, Watt, Foster. Doesn;t get any better than those guys.

    Texans.

I'll just openly admit that I'm tired of Houston not getting any respect and having the worst luck in sports. With a superbowl win (heck, even an appearance) you get the attention, and you get some respect, moreso than with an NBA Finals appearance.

For a one time event it doesn't get any bigger than the Super Bowl.

Texans. I'll always love the Rockets, but as others have said, I don't know this team. I don't feel the kind of emotional investment in them as I do the Texans. Plus I've been a fan of the Texans since there inception, and suffered through many years of terrible football. Seeing them win it all would be unbelievable.

    Texans.

I think when it came down to it, the people saying Rockets would change their mind; that or they're just not big football fans.
