8.3 Mil on cap is too much for back-up PG. If Lin can't figure out how play w/ Harden by NEXT years trade deadline, I think we all know who has to go. Honestly, if Lin can just shoot the rock better, I think everything works out. With 60 games left I am expecting Lin to get to 1-2 percentage points below league average in TS% (0.54) and 3pt% (0.358). He currently at TS (0.483) and 3pt (0.317). Then next year if Lin's not at least an average shooter or better, Morey should look to move him.
Do quick google search tell me how many articles where Toronto looking to trade Calderon. Also do you know where Calderon rank in pay for PG? http://www.spotrac.com/top-salaries/nba/cap-hit/point-guard/
I agree. Regardless of whether he's being used right or not by the coaches, shooting is something that Lin needs to improve on.
Asked to assess his season, Lin said: "Terrible. I think I'm not doing close to what I'm capable of doing and it's a matter of figuring out how to get myself to play more like myself within the system with the change of scenery. I'll be my harshest critic but I'll go ahead and say it: I'm doing terrible. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-b...kets-return-msg-vs-knicks-204143447--nba.html
So if he himself is going on the record, what is with Lin fans calling people that say Lin is playing bad LOH? I guess Lin is a LOH?
Good for lin. The only people that doesn't believe Lin is underperforming this season are some of the delusional Lin fans on this board.
Jeremy is free? And all this time I thought Morey signed him to a $20+ million dollar contract for 3 years. Go figure.
Sounds like what you guys think of Lin. I like Lin, but not enough to get rid of harden. Just let them play together and see if someone eventually happens
Why have him come off the bench? To avoid sharing the ball with Harden? You realize Harden is going to play at least 35 minutes most nights right? Lin will have to learn to co-exist with him.
If he does what he does tonight consistently, I'll be willing to say money well spent; but I'm looking towards another sub-10 point performance next game.
Well....tonight was proof that Harden and Lin can coexist. I believed in this all along, but can we stop the "It's gonna have to be Harden or Lin...pick 1" talk?
