One wonders who in their marketing department actually thought this would be a good idea.
Video game critics have cried for a long time that video game violence translates to real world violence. The video game industry has long denied and fought back against such accusations. Given that, it seems odd that EA would turn around and use its virtual guns to promote real world counterparts.
Guns are fun and all but realistically tactical weapons are ****ing expensive not to mention very hard to find and obtain even with guns shows and all. It's fun to play with an FAMAS in a video game but when you look at the price tag it becomes about as realistic as buying cars from Gran Turismo.
