Patterson is a low risk/low reward player that will keep the starting PF job warm until motie/Jones/white is ready to handle it

    People completely dismissing his defense.

He is one of the best pick and roll defenders in the league.

Patterson plays injured last season. If he's truely back healthy, he has allstar potential and his ultimate ceiling can be superstar. I know this won't be a popular opinion right now because players are only as good as their most recent few games for most people.

That is amazing! Not just anybody can block Luke Harangody.

But for real, I hope PatPat does well. I haven't seen enough of Jones to say whether or not he will be as good or better than PP, but if so then I hope we can trade Pat for some help at the 2-guard position or backup PG.

Pat plays a decent PF for a 2 year mid round pick but a very poor C. I dare say Hill has a higher ceiling.

What more can you show on the play? Good weakside rotation, and getting high above the rim to block a shot at the apex.

Another video showing good helpside rotation plus an above the rim contest. I hope he does well too.

Based on his Per 36 #s there's just a total drop off in all-around production that I think could really only be attributed to injury. Hopefully that's the case and a healthy PPat will return to form, because that 1st year guy is someone whose potential is very high.
