    I've been fighting the blues for a couple of weeks. One of my best friends passed away after a yearlong fight with cancer. Slowly coming out of it. Beer and cannabis are helping.......

    Have you seen the Lightnin' Hopkins historical marker in the Third Ward yet? I went to the dedication ceremony almost 2 years ago. It's cool that they got it and the Duke/Peacock historical markers done. I think the one they are working on now is one for Juke Boy Bonner, as well as looking for a permanent home for the Houston Blues Museum.
