I am beginning to read up on noted Jai Alai enthusiast Ted Cruz.....who as a Cuban-American, is a big fan of Jai Alai.

IT appears he is rather bizarre. Other than his strange affinity for Jai Alai, which although foreign to most Latin Americans, is apparently a big hit among Caribbean-Americans from South Florida. He also has some weird conspiracy theories and such.

Really? Jai Alai? Could he be a compulsive gambler? I don't know. All I know is that he is a big fan of Jai Alai...and that he and fellow Carib-American Marco Rubio are frequently seen amongst the frontons of South Florida.

Sam, are you afraid of a strong Latino Republican? Or perhaps jealous that the Democrats don't have any prominent Latinos with the bright future of a Ted Cruz/Marco Rubio/Brian Sandoval? Sorry -- maybe you guys should quit talking down to Latinos and assuming that all they care about is amnesty. A healthy economy and family values are core issues for Latinos -- obviously these are glaring weaknesses of today's Democratic party and Obama in particular.

I noticed, that TJ, and Commodore didn't address the topic of the thread.

Do either of you agree with the stances of Ted Cruz mentioned in the OP?

Thank for your prompt response regarding this thread but although your defense of Jai Alai Ted Cruz is no doubt heartfelt- one can't help but note a possible nervestrike here.

Not sure why you too join the thundering herd of hope whenever the latest and greatest SoFlatino Calle Ochomerican like Tedward constitutes the next great brown hope- though its amusing to watch you types fall all over yourselves each time the latest scion from Boca Raton emerges with you exhibiting all the burgeoning pride of a toddler who just made an unassisted toilet-borne bowel movement . This pride generally dissipates amongst the chicos as one heads north and West of Orlando (FL, not Sanchez... )

The unfortunate part is that his deep cultural and pathological affinity for Jai Alai- the fastest sport on earth- probably unfairly diminishes him in the eyes of Jose Lunchbox whoprefers futbol, boxeo, and not so m:uch el Cubano.

Do you see the thing that says poll? Looks like a letter P with a circle and 2 sticks. Anyway those ones, though not going to lie, i have prolly been underselling the whole Ted Cruz Loves Jai Alai angle.

I noticed that SamFisher is starting to post more again in the D&D, now that his idol and intellectual superior Trader_Jorge is back. Clearly, Sam is trying to impress his master.
