Hey guys, this is my first thread/post. Just wanted to see everyone's opinion on Shaun Livingston as a possible starter/backup pg...

Obviously, this guy is not the same after his catastrophic injury, but I believe he can still be serviceable, way better than fortson at least.

Coming back from that horrific injury was a courageous act, and I want him to succeed on our team, or just in the NBA again. Being only 26, there is still time for him. I think it is possible if he gets a chance.

    What do you guys think?

I think he can be a solid backup. He's a very good defender.

He can't shoot at all, that's the downside.

His contract will be necessary for any trade the Rockets want to pull off before training camp. If they somehow dont need to use his contract, I think he's an "ok" backup. Not much more than that. Probably a better option than Fortson. Not sure about Machado yet, but still probably a better backup.

Better than Fortson, certainly. If we don't need his contract as part of a trade, then keep him around until the trade deadline as backup while Machado gets some PT in the D-League. I like what I've seen from Machado so far and think he might make a decent backup some day.

Wow, what a video. He deserves the chance to back up Lin. He did good against the Rockets when they played the Bucks this past season... I say yes, keep em.
