Consider this hypothetical guaranteed job to be the equivalent of your current job in terms of pay/benefits/respect/upward mobility.

If your answer is yes, where would you go and why?

(This is simply a hypothetical - I'm not leaving the country.)

In a heart beat. With America and our current economy and jacked up government?

Please stop paying me in American dollars asap!

No, but I would for enough of an increase in pay/upward mobility.

I answered no. I'm assuming that this job is permanent, and not temporary. There are a number of countries I'd love to live and work for a year or so, but I'd never turn my back on the good ole US of A.

You do realize these problems extend to the vast majority of Europe as well?

As long as the move wasn't permanent, and I had the option of coming back, then heck yeah. The world is a big and beautiful place, and there's so much more to see than just "Murica.

Yes, I suppose I could be convinced to leave Texas for the right career opportunities. I wouldn't be willing to leave Texas for Dallas though.

Yes. Not because of economy or anything. Just because its something I have always wanted to do.

My goal is to move to Australia one day.

I'm not in America, so obviously my answer is yes. But if I had to pick where, it would be Brazil, Malaysia, or Australia. It's got to be a hot place with a nice scenic landscape.
