    Don't they hire new RPD's evey season and are hired for only one season?

    They probably have a one-year contract and just have to audition every year.

    So they are not really laid-off. They just don't have a new job. Either way, everyone who works at Toyota will get no pay. Unless maybe they do private gigs like Clutch00.

    They're still doing appearances and other stuff like shooting for the calendar and practicing. Giving them more time to prepare for the season.

    It's a minimum wage job. They only get paid when they work events and games...not sure about practices though.

    The Rockets Facebook page keeps putting up photos of them from the calendar shoot. I assume that means that they are still working, even without games going on.
