I'm not sure if there was a thread started about this, but has anyone seen the recent programming USA has been putting up? Covert Affairs has been solid thus far, but Suits has been really good. Gabriel Macht and Patrick Adams make a really good duo. They remind me a bit of JD and Cox from Scrubs. Nonetheless, this show is a hit. There's depth in the plot, and delivers with humor.
there's something off putting about watching Gina Torres on this show. I know her primarily from The Closer but it appears she's since been Montag-ed. Is it just me?
enjoying Covert Affairs, Suits, and I started watching Burn Notice now too. USA has been killing it somehow
Love this show, Hulu put up the pilot then stopped streaming subsequent episodes. Only thing I don't like is Mike's anchor friend, useless arch imo.
I know her primarily from Firefly, but I get the exact same feeling. She is really good, but there is something strange about her here... I love this show. It's stupid, but for some reason I can't stop watching it...
I like this show for some reason; I think it is because of the characters. I usually hate these "case of the week" type shows, but I'm enjoying Suits. The B stories are usually more interesting than the "case of the week".
I think the fact that it's not a prototypical "whodunnit" type of show lends to its appeal. Very little of the action actually happens in a courtroom, sometimes none at all. And it's got just a little bit of that superhero thing going on as well.
You beat me to it. I was about to post about her and the things I would love to do to Ms Markle. I've been on that "Suits" and for sure "Burn Notice" and please don't leave out "Necessary Roughness". Callie Thorne is a bad b**ch.
USA has done a very good job with their own series. I am currently enjoying Suits and White Collar. I watch but am not as plussed with Covert Affairs. I liked the first two season of Burn Notice but am now "burnt out" with it. I do not care for the two doctor shows: Necessary Roughness and Royal Pains. But Jill Flint from Royal Pains is very easy on the eyes:
I would really like In Plain Sight if they wrote out Mary's family. They were too successful at making them annoying for me. Like Burn Notice, White Collar, Psych, and Covert Affairs. Royal Pains got annoying quick. I found the previews for Suits, Fairly Legal, and Necessary Roughness really annoying, so haven't given any of the three a chance.
+1 on the show. the duo work together really well. i also follow covert affairs ..its plot lines are a little out there. in plain sight..the main girl is UGLY. i can't stand to look at her. burn notice..eh couldn't get into it. negative on royal pains/necessary roughness.
Just finished watching the season finale. *shurg* I still like this show. I'm surprised how much I like(d) this tired, cliched love triangle. Don't like how they have portrayed fine ass Rachel in the last few episodes . Early in the season she seamed very career-oriented, no-nonsense, independent, and strong. So much so that Mike didn't seem like he had much of a chance. Now, in recent weeks, she is coming off pretty pathetic; the whining/pining/jealousy/flirting seems out of character for her. I hope Meghan Markle some how makes it back for a guest appearance on FRINGE. SMH Damn.
