Would Beyonce have hooked up with Tupac instead of Jay-Z if Pac was alive?

I will actually try to answer and say NO. I don't even think Beyonce would be as big if Tupac didn't die. And if she did, by that time I believe Tupac would have already settled down with a hot piece of his own.

But I agree, it's a very weird thread.

Rap circles? I don't know about that. The only thing he has on Pac was punchlines and wordplay. That alone doesn't make you the better artist. But I don't see how Jay would be as successful if both Pac and Biggie were still alive. Their deaths changed the game for better and worse.

jay z has more depth than you give him credit for and that's where a lot of people fail at analyzing jay's songs

 

Biggie signed a 5 album deal with bad boy and didn't want to rap past 2000

 

I don't think my post is refereeing to any discredit of his depth. There is no right or wrong answer as all this based on personal preference. I prefer Pac over JayZ. In MY opinion, I believe he is the better artist. I believe his music had the more meaningful substance that i cared about. I feel his music more than I do JayZ. If I could only listen to one Hip Hop artist for the rest of my life, it would be 2pac. To me, his music is timeless. As great as Jigga Man is, I don't feel the same way about his music.

 

I'm a chick and some of these threads catch me completely off guard, especially coming from guys ... STRAIGHT guys at that.

I have no freaking idea. Tupac was actually younger than Jay-Z. But why Tupac, there are other actors out there.

Hooked up, probably, I thought that was ritual with celebrities or something.
