    Won't last. Its the first year of a new changed jersey on a new team so that will show an immediate spike for any big name player with that sort of change, kobe sustained it even after a year after his no 24 and I expect lebron to drop off next season

    An NBA star changing team always always spike themselves on top of the jersey selling market it shouldn't be a surprise to you. Plus most of the people buying jerseys are still casual sports fans, that's no way to justify if people hates Lebron or not.

    Plus Kobe was hated a lot back in the days, but when he changed his number to 24 people still bought it.

    He went to a new team, of course his jersey sales will be higher because everyone already has Kobe's Laker jersey and no one had LeBron's Miami jersey.

    If Kobe went to a new team, his sales would be higher.
