I feel bad for David, but hopefully this will help us sneak into the playoffs. I don't see a major drop off with Landry backing him up, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if CP3 picked up his game quite a bit and sends them into the playoffs.

I feel sorry for him but my sympathy stops there. No one on gods green earth can look at me (a rockets fan) with a straight face and complain about an injury to a star player. I'd go half past ballistic.

I have a hard time believing people outside of Houston felt bad for Yao/Rockets when he went down with all those foot injuries......

Tough for West, but i'm definitely also thinking this may give Houston the break it needs to secure a post. I'd feel more confident knowing Landry wasn't the fill-in. This situation is the kid that he'd excel in.

 

Don't forget about the 1.3 billion people in China. I'm sure some of them felt bad for Yao when he went down. But I know what you're saying.

 

I think the Hornets will still make the playoffs. They have a lot of depth upfront and they will be playing a lot of struggling teams or teams that will fold (jazz/mavs). Now if Paul went down....

i think they play the mavs the last game of the season - the assumption here is that home court will be decided by then
