It will almost certainly be a guy and it will be the guy who can can fully explain why democracy matters and best articulate Republican venality, corruption, destructiveness, and incompetence while doing the most to push the Democratic leadership out of their feckless and pusillanimous husks. I'll also be looking to see if it's a guy smart, dedicated people want to work for because you don't just elect a President, you elect a whole government of political appointees that come along too.
Does that matter to rank-and-file Democratic voters? After all, they accepted Kamala as the Democratic nominee in spite of no democratic process in "nominating" her.
I feel like this is a really good one. His recent bipartisan work with Massie on Iran/Epstein files could help quite a bit. He has some protectionist economic policies that America first people would appreciate. And then on the stuff for the left base, he checks a ton of boxes.
He's represents Silicon Valley. That area and its industries are about as popular as a war with Iran right now.
I agree with @Nook that Andy Beshear and Jon Ossoff are good candidates. I would lean toward Ossoff if he wins reelection this year. He's starting from a strong position in Georgia. Newsom is a non-starter. He's personally odious and he has led a state that, fairly and unfairly, is a poster child for dysfunction. California is an economic and cultural juggernaut. Lord knows if I had the money I would live on Point Loma. But, he's overseen a state that people cannot afford to live in largely due to bureaucratic mismanagement. He cannot plausibly win people over across the country when his record is one of sky-high expenses.
They already tried with an Indian women, not sure a black one will move the needle... It has to be someone that Democrats really really love, maybe a terrorist from Iran or Palestine ..
If Democrats were smart, they'd nominate Andy Beshear or Josh Shapiro. Democrats are not smart -- especially Democrat primary voters. Remember, African American women represent a huge voting block in their primary... and then you've got the citizens of Mamdanistan... (ex-Bernie voters) who simply will refuse to vote for a pragmatic candidate. I think Kamala wins her first ever Democrat primary and is the nominee. GOOD DAY
God only knows what we would fine if a legitimate, forensic, accounting of Newsom was ever conducted. Of course, our judicial system is so corrupt (paid for) that such an investigation will never happen.
This would be incredible!! Can't wait to hear her new accents, I wonder if she is working on new material.... She is hilarious....
What if they got Lina Hidalgo Maybe she’ll run so she can finally get on the floor seats at the rodeo @Os Trigonum @ROXRAN @SuraGotMadHops
I would nominate Space God but he’s too smart to be a Democrat @Space Ghost @Salvy @basso @RB713 @pgabriel
