I've never thought much of Julius Randle either but he's gotten better the past few years. I think Banchero's current trajectory might actually be more like Michael Beasley.. which is yikes.
Maybe...I just meant he's that type of player, a generalist forward. So, when he's hot it looks great. He can make plays, rebound, score from different areas. But if he isn't hot he can hurt the team by controlling possessions. He also won't really excel as a role player because he's not really elite at anything. If you look at the elite players they have a set of moves they can go to that are nearly unstoppable unless you double team. That's what they go to in crunch time. Guys like Paolo don't have that.
Tilman is pushing for banchero this summer. Italian ambassador needs an Italian player on his team. heard it here first!
