Judge Rules Trump is not immuned from civil suits over Jan 6 Capitol riot

U.S. District Judge ruled that evidence produced so far in the litigation brought by police officers and Democratic lawmakers indicated that Trump’s speech at the Ellipse that day was political in nature and not subject to the immunity the Supreme Court has found for a president’s official acts.

“President Trump has not shown that the Speech reasonably can be understood as falling within the outer perimeter of his Presidential duties,” the judge wrote. “The content of the Ellipse Speech confirms that it is not covered by official-acts immunity.”

As for Trump calling Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger on Jan. 2, 2021, pleading with him to find 11,780 votes so Trump could be declared the winner,

We are so long past, "Why the f*** was he ever allowed to run again, we all saw what he did with our own eyes?" and we always drop such gems as, "Why pardon the former drug-running President of Honduras, then claim to go after Maduro for running drugs, and bolstering Vice President Deisy Como-se-llama when she's also under investigation for running drugs...."

    FAKE NEWS!

"you people" spent all of your time trying to prevent him from running, rather than fielding a campaign that could beat him.

I lived in Italy during my military service. I learned Italian fairly well. I returned home talking with my hands.
Interviewers would stare at my hands. I had to learn to shut them up during interviews if I wanted a job. Didn't take, so I wound up in college where I belonged anyway.

I'm still talking with my hands. People say I look like I'm conducting an orchestra.
