Second game this season with 5 3s. He also had 4 or 5 against Serbia in Eurobasket. Extremely small sample size obviously, but I really don't think that a player who has no shot at all can make 5 3s even in a single game. He has a shot. He needs to figure out how to use it with consistency.
I always pointed out that he went straight from dominating summer league to the NBA season. He started very strong. Then he had an ankle injury (pretty much played through it) and started to look run down. At which point the bots who scream "SOF" appear. Which I'm not. I just honestly think that summer leagues bleeding into NBA seasons? This kind of thing will happen. Let's see about things going forward. My main thing has been the inconsistency of Tari "I Deserve to Start, How'my Gonna Get Paid" Eason and Jabari "Know what I'm sayin" Smith. The Stonedoka "let's have a very tall lineup" is pure Stuck on Stupid, especially when you rely more on DFS' corpse than Josh O (I had to get in that last dig, that's a big'un).
They had a lot of injuries to their main starters all season and finally got right post ASB. They aren’t tanking either unlike the majority of teams out of the race. It’s a better win than you want to admit and at their place. Just admit he played a good game. It’s pathetic man
they are a bottom feeder team, Idc how many caveats you want to give them he played well against the Pelicans and freaking Yves Missi, and Idgaf…certainly not something for Sengun fanbois to be on their knees over if it was 2nd year Reed Sheppard, then ok atp of the season, Idc about games versus bottom tier teams…I didn’t even watch this game or the Grizzlies game…just beat them like you’re supposed to and move on I am just counting down the days until the 1st home game of the playoffs where I’ll be back at Toyota Center
If he hits 3's like he was last night I genuinely don't even think it's borderline. Just transforms him from a #2 option into a bonafide franchise star player imho. We just need him to actually keep it up.
His shot is actually nice looking too, it's not some crippled ugly form. He just needs to focus on it a lot more and it'll come along, I really believe that.
Yeah. This dude is our best overall player even with all his shortcomings. The team should cater to him not a 37 year old guy, who albeit, is an all time great, is also an emotional lesbian of epic proportions.
I've been disappointed with how Sengun has played a good portion of this season. While I think a lot of people enjoy being right when a Rockets player fails who doesn't fit their narrative, I do not unless the person has done something off the court that makes me not want them to be a Rocket. I enjoy it when Sengun plays well.
When he has the form though, sometimes all of a sudden he loses it completely and it looks ugly as hell ass well as the results.
Have you seen Ime murmuring and looking like a psycho on the bench? Hard to believe he is not just technically incompetent but also very bad at managing players. Look at how reed looks once he makes a couple mistakes.
Sengun has averaged just under 27/11/6 the last 5 games on a .66 TS%. But sure, it’s only because we were playing the Pelicans.
I think it’s more of a jilted lover thing with that guy. At the end of the day we all want the team to do well. So have a take and don’t suck.
Well, nobody shoots 71% on night to night basis, that's a hot shooting night for Steph Curry But yes, if he were even a 38% on 4 attempts guy he's a superstar.
yet here you came running quoting some random post from God knows how long ago after the Pelicans game you have low standards and are impressed by anything
