I feel like if he finishes the season strong you almost certainly give him at least up to one more trade deadline with the directive to shoot more often from the perimeter and see how things go. The version of Alpi that has a 3P shot can definitely play on this team and is a borderline #1 option caliber player. The willingness to take those open three pointers and the ability to make them often enough to make defenders afraid is absolutely critical to his value, because it opens up the court for him and everyone else. Without that, he's in no man's land where he's not good enough on offense to share the floor with another non-shooter, and not good enough on defense to make up for it. He's back above 30% now from 3P range, by the way.
