We have a team full of assholes who only play for themselves. Complete opposite of what we had last year. What's changed? Hmmmm

I saw this on r/nba Reddit.

Obviously they deserved that, especially Ime.

I think lumping Amen and Jabari in that comment is ridiculous. Both bring it every night. So does Sheppard and Okogie although they aren’t part of the core yet. We do have roster issues, but Ime is the problem. Take him and Durant out and this ceases to be an issue.

Jabari brings it every night but plays zero help defense and cooks Sengun every time Alpe helps and gets scored on. His entitled attitude and mediocre play is absolutely one of this team's many problems

Bari is not entitled. i remember that dude gave up his starting spot to Amen last year without a word. he does need to work on his help defense. everyone needs to work on their help defense. nobody helps Alpi on defense except adams.

Jabari is basically the only player to have notably played in help defense this season. They may have given up like 2 months ago, but Jabari's shot blocking was really, really good for like 3 months to start the season. I mean he's 2nd on the team per game and total blocks, mostly as the help defender to Sengun (#1). And it's not by much, so if Jabari isn't much as a **help** defender then what is Sengun as a center with only 6 more blocks in total? He's tied with a handful of guys but ranks about 30th in the league in blocks but 11th for forwards. Of those 11 only 4 have a better 3%.

Folks are getting wayyy too casual about hating Jabari.

Dude gave up his starting spot because he was being outplayed. Jabari gets zero hate on here yet is just as disappointing as Jalen in terms of the draft pick used and his pre-NBA expectations, so I'm just trying to balance things out. I don't rate him as a player and would not lose a second of sleep if he was traded

He’s been playing pretty good, and I’ve been his biggest critic

solid role player which is his salary too

How is the video that shows nobody going over other than Reed to help him up or give him a high five misleading? The rest of the team just doesn't react at all, they immediately turn and walk back to the bench to hear whatever bullshit was about to come out of Udoka's mouth. Compare that to how they all went berko when Amen got the tip in to win the game against Miami.

The chemistry is cooked, it's so obvious and they can't bring themselves to celebrate Alpe for whatever reason. But they all never hesitate to scream in his face when he doesn't bail them out after they've been blown by, or if his guy scores off an offensive rebound because Alpe has gone over to help. Kevin and Ime have turned this team into such assholes that they might as well be refs.

Fun fact: Perkins can’t fight. I saw him in high school in Beaumont try to pick a fight with a country boy half a foot shorter than him and he literally cried.

No one that really was following it closely thought Jabari would be a franchise player. He couldn’t dribble, he couldn’t pull up. He fell to third because he was viewed as a high level 3-D that was a role player like Rashard Lewis.

Jabari hasn’t been anything special - but outside of not shooting 40% on 3’s, he has been what the league thought he would be.

I would be fine dealing him for a lottery pick in this draft - I think he is replaceable… but I don’t think he was the same level prospect within the game that Jalen Green was.

Lmao Rashard (Lewis) was not a role player, dude averaged like 22-23 ppg on some non bad teams.

Also Lewis was a shooter but never found his D was elite or special.

Rashard was a 3 pt toting LMA lite.

Rashard Lewis was a role player - he wasn't a franchise player, he wasn't the best player on a team. He was a role player.

His defense was never elite - he was a good defender at one point in time, but ultimately he was an average defender that had value defensively because he could guard to some degree inside and outside.

He had a really good NBA career, but he wasn't a star.

The truth is that Jaberry never had the fluidity, agility nor the aesthetics of a Rashard Lewis but he might become the better defender.
In today's volume shooting days, he might even crack and surpass Lewis in scoring......
Here it says Rashard could create his own Shot, that is a huge weakness of Bari.
I lived in that time and I watched Rashard Lewis growing up, ain't no way he is a super role player.....lol he was a minor starlet......that is what they called them back then....an IT male.

He became a role player with the Heat and the Magic......when he was in his 30s.
Ray Allen was the Number 1 and he was their Number 2 when the Sonics were still intact.

His middie is getting about as automatic as Durant’s and he has demonstrably improved his handle. His defense and rebounding has always been solid. He is also just 22 years old. I’ll never understand his detractors. He is signed at a very reasonable contract.

The one thing he wasn't good at.....was he wasn't a spectacular athlete but another reason I say he is more than a role player.

Dude played like a less scoring Nowitzki, he had some of his moves..... his shooting stroke was better than McGrady's, and I was a Tmac fan back then.

I think we still haven't talked enough about how Tari went 1 for 7 for 3 points in this game. At least the one make was a three pointer. But still. 1 for 7. Okay, it's just one game. He's shooting 30% in the month of March and 10% from three.

The "Jabari or Tari" debate has been settled in my book. We locked up the right player.
