Im not freaking out, they should hit (I think). I’m just pissy in general because the rockets are an abomination to basketball.
The game was over regardless but allowing Nick Allen to hit in the 9th of a game when you’re down 3 runs is managerial malpractice. Having a dumbass manager to go along with a weak lineup and a sketchy bullpen (at least until Hader and Sousa return) isn’t a recipe for success.

They didn’t quit - they were severely injured and just weren’t good. The Rockets are example of a team quitting. We’ll see what happens this season but I don’t feel great about Cam, Walker, Altuve, Yainer or Meyers. Loperfido looked good today but who knows what he’s going to give us. That’s why this whole “let’s protect Yordan” is a joke. Either Altuve and/or Walker need to see the bench often when Pena returns or Yordan’s ass needs to be in LF. Lineup is not good enough to not play the best 9 hitters. Not letting Brice get an AB today but letting Allen get one pisses me off too.
