You are lost if you think Morey made a lot of bad moves. Westbrook trade was Tilman, not Morey. It's probably the reason Morey left. Tilman has said he thought that CP3 extension Morey gave made CP the worst contract in the league. Morey wanted CP3 for years. You truly don't know what you are talking about.
We havent drafted 5 yrs in a row prior to the WB trade. Those picks all spent on vets like Skip to my lou and Ty Lawson who werent effective. Yeah Morey wanted Cp3 for years and he traded for him midseason when he could have signed him in the offseason, costing us assets like Skip to my Lou, PatBev and Montrezl Harrell when those guys could have been flipped for more assets. He maxxed Cp3 anyway so what was the point of trading for him? If he wanted Cp3 around maybe he shouldnt have scapegoated Melo, ever thought of that? Also, Cp3 alleged Morey lied to his face, told him he wasnt being traded and then traded him anyway. You are right, Fertita and Harden wanted him gone but I thought Morey was the great GM here not a yes man like Stone? Morey btw told Fertita he wanted to be with his kids and then became Sixers GM a couple months later. What a liar lmao. Everyone is angry about the KD files, Morey is literally the bad vibes guy.
