Sengun's reaction suggests this was not what was drawn up as well. Didn't let the play develop at all and threw it to Jabroni, who wasn't even halfway open. What the **** was he going to do with it even if he caught it cleanly?

 

if Ime is actually competent, he would openly admits offense is a major issue.

but this mfer is a narcissist and thinks there are no problems with his game plans.

 

Yep, lots of selfish play to end that OT...

That's why the F'n coach calls a TO and reminds them to move the ball, get good shots, play smart, and calm them down.

Instead the coach just watched it happen lol.

Yeah, I actually think it is the other way around.

Stone is competent (not great, but not horrible) but Ime is terrible. I think many of his decisions are actually indefensible.

I'm thinking he might actually be worse than Kevin McHale because at least Kevin McHale understood patterns and momentum. Ime DGAF about that.

Jabari could hit 2 threes and out he goes. In comes DFS...

Like that comeback against the Clippers in the playoffs, that was simply a coach understanding what was working...and rolling with it. Something Ime REFUSES to do.

EDIT: Ime wouldn't have done this...we know he would have put the starting lineup in although it was garbage, he would not have ridden the hot hand in Josh Smith, he would have gone back to what his stubborn ass wanted to do. McHale like Ime didn't really seem to understand Xs and Os but at least he understood patterns and momentum.

 

when was the last time rockets went on a 10 games win streak? because ever since ime took over, he's yet to lead his team to a 10 games win streak.

 

Rockets were 28th in turnover rate heading into tonight and proceeded to add 20 more turnovers to their season total…

They would counter that we would have 8-10 more wins with FVV and Adams. Not sure fans understand how unfireable Udoka is. He has 5 more years at 11 million a season guaranteed thanks to Mr. Stone.

There was that magical Jalen month in Ime's first season. That barely counts because it was against really shitty, mostly tanking teams, though

 

IME has accomplished his mission already. He has reached the ceiling and won't deliver any possitive results to this team.

Next season we need a new coach who truly knows offense and have some advanced/superb playbook which can make this team not look like an idiot or stuck on the court every night.

I can now imagine that if we face Nuggets/Lakers in the playoffs, at the end of 3rd quarter, we will usually have a scoreboard like 65-90.

Also another year wasted due to the nothing done of Stone in the middle of this season.

If this s*** stituation continues, I promise I will lose some weights because in China each game time is before/at noon and I have no appetite to eat anything during the lunch when I am still a rockets fan and being watching these s****.

 

I believe this. The fact that they did absolutely NOTHING at the deadline, or in the buyout market, tells you everything you need to know. Nobody with eyes would realistically think this team was good enough, yet they did absolutely nothing to improve it. They punted the season at the organizational level, and Stone saying that maybe it "wasn't their year" is even more proof of that. It sucks, but it truly does feel like nobody is feeling any pressure to make this team better.

The Rockets aren’t getting to the second round. Before the season started I had their chances of winning a playoff series at under 50%.

The Rockets aren’t beating OKC, SA, DEN, LA or Minnesota.

The Rockets aren’t getting 22-19 in their last 41 games- going back to early January.
