Did you see how clean that hand and thumbnail were on that picture? Doesn't seem possible out there doing all that stuff with not a speck of grime under the fingernail.

What do you want to happen here? The choices range from the U.S. completely leaving tomorrow (whatever the consequences of that, now that war has already started) to full troops on the ground, like in Iraq and Afghanistan... to dropping a nuke to end it all (won't end it, but ..).

Or is it: whatever the POTUS does, you agree with that?

Probably fake. Tweet after tweet ... distortion. War reality is very different, but the sad thing is, we used to at least trust what the Pentagon said, to give us a picture of what's going on. Now... too many lies and propaganda on all sides.

He's completely unpredictable. But you don't deploy troops to watch a bombing. Still, the guy does have a history of abandonment without consideration of impact for more than an hour. So who knows.

This all makes me sick to my stomach. All because we attacked Iran.

Trump was talking about himself back in 2011 it seems, and not Obama.

"Our president will start a war with Iran because he has absolutely no ability to negotiate. He's weak and he's ineffective".

Would be funny - and not at all surprising - if it takes Trump having another stroke or finally sputtering his last breath from his syphilitic zombie husk to end the war

Word on The Street is that Trump is now offering his firstborn male son, to sweeten the deal.

Nah, the whole family is reaping in off the war, and influence peddling. When Trump said we were going to make lots of money he meant himself and his family.

Jared Kushner raising billions from Middle Eastern governments for his private equity firm, pocketing tens of millions in fees each year, while serving as Donald Trump’s“ Middle East envoy raises serious concerns about his potential conflicts of interest. We need answers if Trump’s son-in-law is profiting by selling access to influence U.S. policy to foreign investors. If he’s getting influenced by cash from other countries, America’s national security is at risk. Oversight Democrats are fighting for answers and transparency,” said Ranking Member Robert Garcia.

“Jared Kushner makes up for his flaws as an investor by being a wildly corrupt appendage of his father-in-law’s wildly corrupt administration. The guy is literally on the payroll of the Saudi government and trying to take even more of their money while simultaneously hijacking U.S. foreign policy with his shadow State Department. The U.S. becomes less safe and more corrupt every day Jared Kushner remains involved in our political system,” said Senator Ron Wyden.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren said the Department of Defense has no plan to stop President Donald Trump’s family from profiting on lucrative defense contracts in a Tuesday letter to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, shared exclusively with CNBC.

“It failed to provide answers to the vast majority of questions that we asked regarding DoD’s decision making process for the contracts and loan guarantees referenced in our January 22, 2026 letter,”

Warren wrote of the Defense Department’s response in the new letter, which was cosigned by Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn. “It also suggests that DoD appears to have no effective processes in place to ensure that DoD contracts are being fairly awarded to companies based on our national security and defense requirements—rather than the financial interests of the President’s family.”

Scrutiny has only grown after Trump Jr. and his brother, Eric Trump, backed Powerus, a drone company that is aiming to win Defense Department contracts. The DOD is spending about $1 billion in an effort to juice domestic drone production.

“Reshoring U.S. supply chains is vital to national security, and the administration’s war in Iran reveals the extent to which drones are becoming an increasingly important battlefield weapon,” Warren wrote. “But the circumstances surrounding this new merger, and the involvement of the President’s children cast a cloud of corruption and conflict of interest over any DoD contracts that this company may receive.”

As is often the case with this guy, I'm shocked but not surprised.

"Some of Trump's allies." My guess is that means Fox News types like Hannity, Lady Lindsey, and other weirdos who have no understanding of what's really going on. He trusts those losers more than people who have dedicated their lives to service and expertise. One of the big, big problems this administration has is that it depends on memes and social media to make policy while advice from the famous takes precedence over the competent and the President is too dumb or consumed by himself to recognize it. I can't think of a major player in this debacle that should be anywhere close to a government position with authority, including the President.

This is how all of government works now. We destroy stuff, including organizational culture, and then act like that improved things until reality slaps back. Even then, I guess these guys can stay in their bubble.

This is not how the universe, or at least our timeline, works. Nah, we lose great guy and Nobel laureate J. Michael Bishop this week, and probably like 800 really good, promising kids got diagnosed with cancer too. The orange king will rage and blunder onward. He and his wretched spawn will continue accumulating wealth.

More on topic but no less depressing: The only humans that are as capable of fabrication as our POS-US are whatever ruthless thugs that now run Iran and also Bibi.

I still cannot get over the fact that people in the media, and especially wall street still listen to a word this clown says. The fact that a tweet by him can move markets tells you all you need to know about how many brain cells you need to obtain in order to work on Wall Street.

“The performance and movements of the hostile Abraham Lincoln strike group are constantly being monitored, and it will be targeted as soon as it comes within missile range,” IRNA quoted Iran’s Navy Chief Admiral Shahram Irani as saying.

Iran’s Navy will not rest until it avenges the deaths of sailors killed when the U.S. torpedoed an Iranian warship in international waters earlier this month, Shahram said.

Meanwhile, Trump and Hegseth ship our troops off as sacrificial lambs as they watch from abroad in their fancy suits, hoping for the best, with their lists of excuses in their pockets when sh*t hits the fan.

I was never in favor of this war, nor do I believe we should get involved in everything the Israeli government does. Or anyone for that matter.. At the time I felt like at least a bunch of terrorists aholes got killed, like the people of Iran needed this. And they do. But Is it our job to do it? No....

I have not defended almost anything Trump has done this term, I feel like he has turned politician and his decisions have been for catering certain groups not for America as a whole like in his first term.

There is no correct answer on what to do next, if we just leave it's a disaster and if we continue it's also more blood, destruction and unnecessary to US . Not the oppressed people of Iran... Trump can worry on how to get out of this in a successful manner. Midterms and elections are dependant on it...

Oh dude... the Iranians have to be laughing their a$$es off right now. The pin prick of pain that in a war caused the supposed most powerful nation's leader to fold like a cheap suit this quick is astounding.

When countries normally go to war, or are invaded in a war, typically those countries and their leaders believe in that war or their sovereignty enough to stomach alot of pain. For Trump it was the fact that gas prices in the US went up a dollar a gallon, and 6 soldiers tragically died. From THEIR PERSPECTIVE that is nothing. Normal regimes are willing to suffer depression, a hundreds of thousands dead in order to survive or win the war they waged.

Trump is on display as the weakest world leader we have ever seen. Its pathetic and embarrassing.

Now... again I do still think he's a threat to stay in power and destroy our democracy given the DOMESTIC levers of power here that serve him (Supreme Court, Republicans, Media, Billionaires, and potentially the most important component... the guns in the military/ICE) so domestically we have to take him seriously, but right now NOBODY in the world is afraid of this clown.

Kim Jong Un is flexing his nuclear power now too.

North Korea will permanently cement its status as a nuclear-armed state while treating South Korea as its "most hostile" enemy, leader Kim Jong Un said.

"The dignity of the nation, its national interest and its ultimate victory can only be guaranteed by the strongest of power," Kim said, adding that Pyongyang would "continue to consolidate our absolutely irreversible status as a nuclear power.

Kim accused Washington of "global terrorism and aggression," framing the US-Israel war with Iran as proof that force overrides international norms.

"The current world reality... clearly teaches what the true guarantee of a state's existence and peace is," he said.

Without naming US President Donald Trump, Kim said his opponents can "choose confrontation or peaceful coexistence... and we are prepared to respond to any choice."
