Reed needs to work on his clutchness. He's flashed some, so we know he has it in him--he just needs to get more consistent at both ends. We want a baby-faced killer that strikes fear in opponents.

We are not trading Reed, he is the main guy on the perimeter in the next year or so.

    Say you!

Reed is progressing but his achilles heel has always been.....INCONSISTENCY.

The same thing you shouted to the Heavens about JG, it's Reed's too.

I want to believe, like most Reed fans but its like you get 2 or 3 good games and then BAM....He has 2 or 3 bad games....never a 10, 15, 20 game stretch!

However, I think he needs to finish the season as a starter and give him until the Trade Deadline next season. If he's still have consistency issues.....TRADE HIM

Man, I wanted the Rockets to draft Kel'el Ware so bad! He's the perfect fit with Amen.

I would do him and Herro for Sengun.

If trying to build a team for Reed with Ware, I think this gives the Rockets an actual Top 10 player and removes players that would not fit with that Top 10 player.

Miami has a player type. Sengun is definitely NOT that type. I can't imagine they would view him as an asset in a trade like that and be willing to give multiple starters to make it happen. Even if they love Reed that seems a little far fetched because again - guys like Riley and Spo don't go for guys like Alpi.

I was asking Corrosion just for fun, after his comment about convincing Miami to let go of Ware. Although after putting together this trade I think it is somewhat viable from a Rockets perspective. I’m not trying to get rid of Sheppard, but only a few dreamers consider him our franchise player. This trade actually addresses many of our issues. We would have a stretch five rim runner and protector and an experienced shooting guard that at least right now is better than Reed. It also dumps DFS and, though, three FRP’s is a high price, it preserves our most valuable picks and gives us a replacement for Tari. I doubt Miami would do the trade though.

I think you’re right. It was just for fun and if it gave DD a bit of ajida even better.

Don’t worry. Amen isn’t going anywhere. He and FVV(lol) only untouchables on the roster.

Miami is not restricted from making trades after the next trade they make.

Sengun is worth at least 2 FRPs.
    Reed 1.
3 FRPS are worth 3 FRPs.

The Heat could probably flip Sengun and a couple of FRPs or less for Giannis. Reed could be subbed for a FRP.

Miami would easily take that deal as at the very least, they would flip Sengun and Reed for players they want, and still be flush with assets for trades.

As usual you have no clue about bball talent. You act like this guy is Olajuwon and he sucks big time.

Sure but Giannis might not have a better future than the players we remove in this trade. This is clearly a selling your future for a precarious win-now move.

If we were going to get a non shooter (top 10 but injury prone at the latter part of his prime) to play with Reed, I'd rather keep Amen.

Maybe, it’s according to how much they value Ware and Herro. I think they value them quite a bit more than three frp’s and Sengun, but could be wrong. Some frp’s are not much better than 2nd round picks in most drafts. The trade I put together was mostly about fit for the Rockets. If Miami can turn it in to more, I don’t give a sh*t. Getting a player like Ware who fits like a glove is going to cost a lot. There aren’t very many young stretch fives that are rim protectors to be had. I don’t think there is a scenario where we could get Ware without Sengun and picks. Most of the other elements were to get matching salaries.
