Ime’s reaction to Tari’s all too typical low iq play says it all. He had zero reaction, while Sengun was stomping up and down in anger. Reed, who is white, makes same low iq play and Ime is throwing his hands up in the air and jumping up and down. Ridiculous and low iq coaching.
Tari needs to start .... packing his bags. Man, I was a big Tari fan even before he was drafted, after the draft I couldn't have been happier, that was the one guy in that draft that I wanted - now? I .... how the **** do you go from shooting 50%+ to 8%. Boneheaded plays, silly fouls and an over dramatic helicopter mom .... Time to move on. It's a sad day in Rocket land. That dude blundered $100m .... he'll be lucky to get a mini MLE now.
He began the year looking unhappy, got hot and played really well for a while, and now he's whatever the hell this is. Throw in the fact that you can't rely on him to stay healthy and he has become an unaffordable luxury. I love his game when he's right, but you can't count on him being right. I'd bring him back if he was cheap enough, but there's no way I'd want to count on him as a starter.
I wish I could sad emoji this comment… oooh Tari. I wanna root for him so bad. I miss the good chaos he used to bring.
Tari's game has completely fallen off a cliff. He's supposed to be an RFA this summer. I can't imagine him getting offers playing like this.
The plight is seriously abnormal. I don’t know what excuse there is for regressing this badly right after he was on fire and the team gifted him a starting spot. Whatever adversity he’s facing, this is a historically bad reaction to it. Can anyone ask him directly wtf is going on?
All season this team has been taking turns going through massive slumps as individuals. It's one thing to kinda hit a lull it's another to look like you have no idea what you're doing out there. All our young guys have hit one this season and Finney-Smith doesn't know what good play is. Maybe the reverse will be true and Finney-Smith will turn it around in the playoffs just to balance it all out. Tari is due soon to be playing his best ball.
