There have been repeated bills to fully fund TSA, FEMA, and the Coast Guard. Republicans have blocked every one of them. They could easily pass such a bill within minutes if they wanted, seeing as how they control the Senate. This is another example of Trump spouting something stupid and everyone scrambling to not only say what a great idea it is, but actually trying to make it work in real-life. Exposing more Americans to ICE agents is not going to be the win envisioned.
Democrats only want to fund some functions of DHS rather than all of it. Democrats don't want to fund ICE or Border Patrol because they demand open borders, unlimited illegal immigration, and to force poor and middle-class Americans to financially support every foreigner who wants to live in the U.S. Why do you demand such things?
Thank you for what?!? ICE isn't doing anything but standing around in the crowd. A crowd that is historically long and getting worse by the day. Should I be thankful to have ICE to keep me company as I wait in a line that starts in the freaking parking garage, snakes all the way through all 9 baggage claim areas before heading to the TSA level and lines there. They took down all monitoring of wait times in ATL. I fly out of ATL this Friday for Puerto Rico for a cruise. Driving isn't an option or I'd take it. 6 hours early is the soonest Delta will let you check a bag but the TSA line is over 6 hours now. So your bag will be there but you won't. And if you're traveling by yourself you're really screwed. No bathroom breaks for the next 6 hours or you'll lose your place in line. Should I thank Donnie for all this? I'm far from a dem but you drank all the kool-aid if you think he's doing a good job right now.

Serious question. Do you want to have to wait 6 hours in the ER when you or your wife, mother, child is deathly ill because Democrats have flooded our hospitals with tens-of-MILLIONS of illegals that don't have a pot to piss in? If you dislike a 6-hour wait at the airport, cave to Democrat demands but get ready for 6-hour waits in the ER and then remember that you were warned.
I’ve seen their list and the only thing I balk at is masks. It’s needed. The only way I’d agree with masks is make it illegal for protesters to wear masks. Otherwise ok. It’s not caving it’s agreeing. But if you want to make it suck hard for TSA workers and those that travel (btw the government already collected my fees to pay TSA so where did my money go?) then maintain the course of no compromise. If you refuse to work together then this will go on indefinitely playing petty games. This is all why we need to dump the 2 party system. It’s completely dysfunctional at this point.
