Imagine a situation where we draft Clingan instead of Reed

    And we trade Sengun for KD instead of green.

    FVV/Green/Amen/KD/Clingan

    with Jabari and others off the bench.

    we’d objectively be better

    Rather than imagining an alternative reality, why not try to acquire Clingan in reality? He fits what we need. Great prospect.

    Imagine thinking getting rid of Reed and having Jalen Green back on the team fixes anything

    Clingan is a good prospect but we'd still be having basically the same problems

    A) are you aware Green is bad at basketball?

    B) you put FVV in your lineup... if he was playing this year we would be objectively better

    If wishes are gonna be horses, the actual, somewhat-realistic hypothetical that maybe makes a difference here would be signing Nickeil Alexander-Walker instead of Dorian Finney-Smith. Walker has been a revelation this season and would have made a huge difference for us after losing Fred VanVleet. One problem with this hypothetical is that NAW probably doesn't see himself as getting enough playing time here since we had re-signed Fred and he was healthy at the time Walker went to the Hawks. So this hypothetical might have required us to have let Fred walk in free agency. Which, let's be honest, wouldn't have been such a bad thing in hindsight.

    I'd rather imagine having a head coach that can coach offense and a GM that can draft and FA sign role players other than DFS and Tari.

    I am opposed to any scenario in which Jalen Green remains a Rocket. He is awful. I can't remember who said it here, but I read a poster yesterday saying "Jalen Green's ceiling is 80% of Jordan Clarkson" and that sums up perfectly how I feel about him. He's just not good.

    Imagine having clank brothers (Jalen and fvv) for another 2 years. These 2 could build nations with their combined bricks. FVV was good in the playoffs but trash in the regular season with his efficiency.

    This is such an absurd post.
